  • 2 large heads of broccoli cut into florets, stems peeled and sliced (about 6.5 cups)
  • 1-2 Tbsp Fresh Ginger, grated (use more if you like the flavor and heat of ginger)
  • 1 tsp minced garlic (about 2 cloves)
  • 2 Tbsp Sesame oil
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp Low Sodium Tamari (gluten-free soy sauce)
  • 1 Tbsp Honey or maple syrup
  • Sesame seeds for topping
  • Red Chile Flakes (for optional spice)

Instructions

  1. Steam the broccoli until crisp tender, about 6-7 minutes. Cool and place in a large bowl.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the grated ginger, garlic, sesame oil, olive oil, rice vinegar, tamari and honey until well combined.
  3. Pour over the steamed broccoli, mix well. Plate and top with sesame seeds, and red chile flakes if desired. Enjoy!
