Ingredients
- <strong>For the Base</strong>
- 1 to 1½ cups unsweetened almond milk (adjust for desired thickness)
- 4 scoops plant based vanilla protein powder (about 60 grams total protein)
- 1 cup frozen raspberries
- 1 large frozen banana, sliced
- <strong>For the Toppings</strong>
- Toasted coconut flakes
- Chopped pistachios
- Gluten free granola
- Optional: fresh berries
Instructions
- Make the base: In a high speed blender, pour in the almond milk first. Add the protein powder, then frozen raspberries and sliced banana. Blend until thick and creamy, using the tamper to help move the mixture as needed. Scrape down the sides to incorporate any powder that sticks, and blend until smooth. Add more almond milk a little at a time to reach your desired consistency.
- Assemble the bowls: Spoon the smoothie into two bowls and smooth the tops. Add your the toasted coconut, pistachios and granola, and top with more fresh berries if desired.
