Green Wellness Ginger Shots

Ingredients
- 1 small apple, cored and chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped (about 1-2 stalks)
- 1-2 inch piece of fresh ginger, chopped (more for spicier)
- 1 cup spinach, packed
- 1/2 cup cucumber, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, packed
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 cup clean, filtered drinking water
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to your Vitamix or high speed blender, along with the water.
- Start on a low speed and gradually increase to high. Blend until the mixture is smooth, about 1-2 minutes.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a large bowl or measuring cup. Use a spoon or spatula to press the mixture through the strainer, extracting as much liquid as possible. This takes a little time, so find your zen while pressing.
- Store in an airtight glass container or jar in the refrigerator, and take up to 8 oz in one day.
- Use within 24-48 hours for the best immunity-boosting effects. Enjoy!
